JOB SUMMARY:
A Sourcing Executive will be responsible to research, identify, and procure products to meet and exceed the company’s sales and profitability targets. The individual will work in a team of product research and sourcing specialists to meet long-term strategic objectives of the company.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Research and identify potential brands and their products to sell on the Amazon marketplace
- Open new accounts with suppliers/distributors/wholesalers
- Work with brands and top distributors to obtain brand approval for resale on the marketplace
- Negotiate prices with potential suppliers based on the company’s profitability targets
REQUIRED SKILLS:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English (must have)
- Excellent supplier engagement skills
- Must have strong negotiation and analytical skills (must have)
- Strategic thinking and business acumen (must have)
- Intermediate proficiency with MS Excel (good to have)
EXPERIENCE:
- 2-3 years’ experience of target-based sales (Required)
- 1+ year experience of supplier sourcing for an e-commerce company (Preferred)
EDUCATION:
Four-year business degree or equivalent (BBA – Marketing Preferred)
SALARY:
Market competitive salary and monthly performance bonus
JOB TYPE:
Full-time – Mon-Sat: 12:00 noon – 9:00 pm with alternate working Saturdays
This is strictly a work-from-site job with no remote work opportunity
Candidates should be able to commute reliably to the office on a daily basis
Only residents of Karachi will be considered for the interview
