Job Description

Job Summary:

Responsible for the in-process control, continuous monitoring and inspection in parenteral areas for the compliance of Good Manufacturing Practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out shop floor investigations of non-conformances in designated areas.
  • Involve in OEE improvement with associated departments like production and supply chain.
  • Responsible for process monitoring (Line clearance and in process checks) in Sterile areas.
  • Ensure the verification of each batch rejections, return and approval of rejection of SFG and packaging materials as per approved Level of authority.
  • Prepare new Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and revision of the relevant SOPs to ensure compliance with GMP standards as and when required followed by training.
  • On time reporting of product, procedure and process related issue & monitoring till rectification.
  • Involve in process monitoring of validation, development and/or scaleup batches on production floor.

Required Knowledge and Experience:

  • Holds a professional degree of Pharmacy (Pharm D) or Master’s degree in Chemistry / Applied chemistry, with good communication skills and command in computer (MS Office, Adobe Acrobat, Power Point) skills.
  • Should have good business understanding of WHO and ICH guidelines, along with data compilation and analytical skills.
  • 5-7 years of relevant work experience in any reputed pharmaceutical company.
