We are an energy transition consulting firm that offers consulting and engineering services to commercial and industrial clients and for third-party verification and certification companies and financial institutions. Our focus is on distributed and central renewable energy projects, including solar PV, solar thermal, wind, biomass, and waste-to-energy, as well as energy efficiency consulting. We also focus on BESS and MicroGrid assignments for industrial clients. We help our clients achieve carbon reduction and cost savings targets. Each project is a new learning opportunity.
Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Renewable Energy Specialist. The Renewable Energy Specialist will be responsible for daily tasks including, but not limited to, managing renewable energy consulting projects, conducting feasibility studies, identifying potential project risks, performing site analyses, and supervising installation, maintenance, and commissioning of renewable energy systems in accordance with international best practices. The role will also involve pre and post-installation testing at the site (If required).
Qualifications
- Renewable Energy Markets and Renewable Energy skills
- Knowledge and experience of technologies in the wind, solar energy, and BESS domains
- Excellent knowledge of local and international policies, regulations related to renewable energy for power and independent power producers
- Understanding of the energy industry
- Bachelors’ degree in Electrical, Electronic, Power or Relevant Engineering field
- Familiarity with AutoCAD or similar applications is an added advantage
- Professional certification in project management will be an advantage.
