Job Description
- To prepare, review, and transmit claims using billing software, including electronic and paper claims.
- To call insurance companies regarding any discrepancies in payments if necessary.
- To identify and bill secondary or tertiary insurances.
- To work on the follow-up of assigned claims with open accounts receivables via Insurance Portal or Insurance Calls.
- To retrieve Explanation of Benefits (EOBs) from the Payer during follow-up for payment confirmation.
- To appeal/work on denied claims.
