Job Description

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Senior Manager Finance to lead our finance team. The ideal candidate will possess a Chartered Accountant (CA) or Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) qualification and have a strong background in financial management, accounting, and strategic financial planning. As the General Manager – Accounts, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining the financial health of the company and ensuring compliance with financial regulations and industry best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Management:
- Oversee the entire accounting and finance function of the organization.
- Develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
- Strategic Financial Planning:
- Lead the development and execution of the company’s financial strategies and plans.
- Monitor financial performance, analyze results, and provide strategic recommendations.
- Budgeting and Forecasting:
- Prepare annual budgets and financial forecasts.
- Monitor budget compliance and take corrective actions as necessary.
- Compliance and Risk Management:
- Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and standards.
- Identify and mitigate financial risks.
- Team Leadership:
- Manage, mentor, and motivate a team of accounting professionals.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and professional development within the department.
- Stakeholder Communication:
- Communicate financial results and insights to the executive team and board of directors.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including auditors and regulatory authorities.
- Vendor and Supplier Management:
- Negotiate and manage financial contracts with vendors and suppliers.
- Optimize financial arrangements for the benefit of the company.
Qualifications:
- Chartered Accountant (CA) or Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) qualification is mandatory.
- Proven experience in a senior financial management role, preferably as a Finance Manager, Controller, or Director of Finance.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent knowledge of financial software and systems.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
