Job Description

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Senior Manager Finance to lead our finance team. The ideal candidate will possess a Chartered Accountant (CA) or Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) qualification and have a strong background in financial management, accounting, and strategic financial planning. As the General Manager – Accounts, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining the financial health of the company and ensuring compliance with financial regulations and industry best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Management:
  • Oversee the entire accounting and finance function of the organization.
  • Develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
  • Strategic Financial Planning:
  • Lead the development and execution of the company’s financial strategies and plans.
  • Monitor financial performance, analyze results, and provide strategic recommendations.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting:
  • Prepare annual budgets and financial forecasts.
  • Monitor budget compliance and take corrective actions as necessary.
  • Compliance and Risk Management:
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and standards.
  • Identify and mitigate financial risks.
  • Team Leadership:
  • Manage, mentor, and motivate a team of accounting professionals.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and professional development within the department.
  • Stakeholder Communication:
  • Communicate financial results and insights to the executive team and board of directors.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including auditors and regulatory authorities.
  • Vendor and Supplier Management:
  • Negotiate and manage financial contracts with vendors and suppliers.
  • Optimize financial arrangements for the benefit of the company.

Qualifications:

  • Chartered Accountant (CA) or Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) qualification is mandatory.
  • Proven experience in a senior financial management role, preferably as a Finance Manager, Controller, or Director of Finance.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent knowledge of financial software and systems.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities.
