Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an Import Export Manager located in Karachi. The Import Export Manager will be responsible for managing the import and export of goods while maintaining compliance with customs regulations and handling logistics related to shipping. This position involves working with the sales team to identify new international markets, negotiating prices and contracts with suppliers and customers, and handling payments and finances related to international trade.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, International Business, or a related field
- 3-5 years of experience in import/export management
- Strong knowledge of customs regulations and procedures
- Proven ability to negotiate and manage contracts with suppliers and customers
- Experience in logistics, supply chain management, and financial transactions related to international trade
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working with international teams and partners
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with industry-specific software and databases
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines, while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
