Job Description
This full-time on-site role in Lahore is for a Truck Dispatcher. The Truck Dispatcher is responsible for managing the scheduling and routing of truck drivers to ensure timely and accurate product delivery. The Truck Dispatcher will also monitor and track shipment progress, manage paperwork, and communicate with customers and drivers to provide exceptional service.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field
- Experience in the trucking industry or logistics industry
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with drivers and customers
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities in a fast-paced environment
- Fluency in English and Urdu
- Proficient in computer applications for record keeping, word processing, and spreadsheets
- Knowledge of transportation regulations and routes is a plus
- Customer service experience is a plus
