Job Description
A US based company is looking to expand its software development team in Islamabad.
We are seeking full-time Senior Software Engineers with solid skills in React.js or any other JavaScript framework to join our team.
The role demands hands-on coding throughout a project life cycle and will appeal to individuals who are driven by an innovative spirit and see solutions where others see challenges. To be successful you will need a combination of problem-solving, technical, and communication skills, and the ability to handle a mix of disparate tasks which will include project and software development work.
Responsibilities:
- Design and implement fitness user experiences in React.js on an embedded Android platform
- Create app and UI components from prototypes and wire frames.
- Thorough understanding of React.js and its core principles
- Utilize native APIs on embedded Android to integrate with our fitness platform.
- Good understanding of functional programming, object-oriented programming, reactive programming, and type safety
- Deliver high-quality and thoroughly tested software
- Bug fixing and improving application performance
Qualifications:
- BS in Computer Science or equivalent
- 4+ years of experience developing high-performance front-end systems
- 2+ years experience in React.js or React Native
- Knowledge of HTML5 and CSS3.
- Solid understanding of the nuances of JavaScript, including ES6+ syntax.
- Proficiency in Redux
- Hands-on experience in React Hooks, Redux Saga, GraphQL, and REST APIs
- Familiarity with Unit-testing frameworks, such as Jest
- Familiarity with using git from the command line
- Linux CLI and open source tools
- Solid comprehension of software development processes, principles, and approaches
