Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our dynamic team. As a Project Manager at Paysyslabs, you will play a critical role in overseeing and executing various projects within the fintech industry. If you’re a dedicated professional with a minimum of 2-3 years of project management experience, a degree in Computer Science or Engineering, and a strong background in fintech, we encourage you to apply.
Responsibilities:
- The PM will be responsible for leading and facilitating Agile ceremonies, with a specific emphasis on utilizing JIRA. This includes overseeing daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
- Collaborating closely with product owners, Scrum Masters, and development teams to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables, all managed within the JIRA platform.
- Creating and maintaining comprehensive project plans, timelines, and releases using the advanced features of JIRA Agile Project management.
- Ensuring that project goals are aligned with the overarching business objectives and client requirements.
- Actively monitoring and reporting on project progress utilizing various reporting tools.
- Proactively identifying and addressing project issues and risks to ensure successful project outcomes.
- Fostering a culture of continuous improvement and Agile best practices, with an emphasis on leveraging JIRA for process optimization.
- Facilitating and encouraging transparent communication and collaboration among cross-functional teams.
- Skillfully managing and prioritizing the product backlog, utilizing the full capabilities of the JIRA platform.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 2-3 years of experience in project management.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in the fintech industry, with a deep understanding of financial technologies and processes.
- Strong communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- PMP, CAPM, or other relevant certifications are a plus.
