Job Description
The Deputy Manager of Accounts & Taxation position is responsible for overseeing the financial operations of the company, including the management of accounts and taxation matters. Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain accounting records, including the preparation of financial statements and reports.
- Ensure compliance with accounting principles, tax regulations, and internal policies.
- Prepare and submit tax returns, including income tax, sales tax, and other related taxes.
- Develop and implement strategies to minimize tax liability and maximize tax efficiency.
- Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial plans.
- Conduct internal audits to ensure accuracy and integrity of financial transactions.
- Supervise a team of accountants and provide guidance on accounting and tax matters.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
- Professional certification in accounting (e.g., CPA) is preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in accounting and taxation.
- Excellent knowledge of accounting principles and tax regulations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
