Job Description
- Receive patients with signed consent forms and verify the accuracy of patient information.
- Ensure patients are properly shifted to pre-operative recovery, monitor attachment is done, and pre-operative recovery management is carried out.
- Assist in post-procedure recovery, including receiving patients from the OR with specimens.
- Perform cannulation in the recovery room and attach fluid as needed.
- Monitor and verify the patient’s dietary status and NPO times.
- Shift patients to the operating room, following protocols, and provide proper handover to Technicians/Senior Technicians.
- Update patient’s history and details on the HMIS (Hospital Management Information System).
- Shift patients from recovery to wards, following protocols, and provide appropriate handover to ward staff.
