Job Description
Essential duties and responsibilities:
- Develop a full understanding of the various business units and their specific training
- Develop and implement a learning strategy and program that are aligned with the organization’s objectives
- Evaluate individual and organizational development needs
- Track budgets, negotiate contracts, build and maintain relationships with third-party training providers
- Design and produce training materials, including e-learning courses
- Assess the success of the development plans and modify where necessary
- Act as the principal point of contact for anyone with questions about training and development
- Stay abreast of the latest developments in learning trends, changes in learning theory, and developments in learning technologies
- Proficient in MS Office and Learning Management Systems (LMS)
- Collaborate effectively with other relevant stakeholders
- Ability to draw insights from data and present visually
Qualifications:
- Bachelor degree in HRM, psychology, education, business, and/or related business experience; 5+ years relevant experience in Human Resources, ideally L&D or Organizational Development
- Demonstrate affinity with employee learning and learning technologies
- Familiarity with e-learning platforms and LMS
- Able to solve problems quickly and resolve issues
- Ability to communicate effectively and engage with employees
- Analytical ability
- Ability to effectively present information to clients, public groups, boards of directors, employees, management
