Company Description
The Data Institute is a non-profit institution located in Islamabad, Pakistan. It is funded by The Shaikh Center for Data Sciences and managed by Data Science Technologies Pvt Ltd. The institute provides advanced statistics and data science education classes to youth and adults and helps them with hands-on training and eventually working on their very own Capstone.
Role Description
This is a part-time, on-site role for a Data Science Intern. The Data Science Intern will be responsible for performing data analysis, creating statistical models, helping with data collection and cleaning, and assisting with other data-related tasks as needed.
Experience
- No prior work experience is needed
Qualifications
- Analytical Skills, Statistics, and Data Science skills
- Data Analytics and Data Analysis skills
- Proficiency in statistical analysis software such as R or Python
- Proficiency with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI
- Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field such as Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or Data Science
