Role Description:
Medfolio Billing Solutions is seeking a full-time Medical Biller to be based in Islamabad. In this role, the Medical Biller will be responsible for day-to-day operations related to medical claims submission, processing, and payment posting. The Medical Biller will need to communicate with insurance companies, patients, and healthcare providers to obtain necessary information and resolve billing issues. The Medical Biller will also need to maintain accurate billing records and adhere to regulatory compliance standards.
Qualifications:
- Medical Terminology and ICD-10 coding proficiency
- Experience with Insurance and Medicare billing
- Knowledge of Denials management and appeals process
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Detail-oriented and organized
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Prior experience with medical billing software is preferred
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Health Information Technology or related field is preferred
