Hashoo School of Hospitality Management (HSHM) provides world-class education in hospitality, tourism, and hotel management. Role Description

This full-time on-site Lecturer role is dedicated explicitly to teaching in the hospitality management program. The lecturer must provide quality teaching and be constantly able to improve our program’s academic quality. The person will be expected to create curricula, lead classes, assess students, and perform administrative duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• A related Master’s degree in Hospitality Management, Tourism, or Hotel Management is required; Ph.D.’s is preferred but not necessary.
• Experience in teaching or professional experience in a relevant field is required.
• Good understanding of current events in the hospitality industry is an added advantage.
• Ability to apply advanced academic content and innovative pedagogical methods in course development and delivery.
• Excellent communication skills in English and strong writing and analytical skills are required.
• Willingness to cooperate with hospitality industry professionals and other stakeholders is required.
• Ability to work in a dynamic, diverse, and rapidly changing environment.
• Experience with online teaching tools such as Zoom, LMS, and other e-tools in higher education teaching is a plus.
• Commitment to creating a supportive, student-centered learning environment is required.
