Overview:

The incumbent will be responsible for managing all air freight (export/import) related business activities at Lahore station, in line with customer expectations and company standards. This includes operations, business retention and growth, procurement, customer services, and operational systems, among others.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Manage all Air Freight (export/import) related business activities at Lahore station as per customer expectations and company standards.
• Maintain professional relationships with all carriers and customers.
• Procure freight rates, space, and services from the most suitable carriers, considering the market and competition situation.
• Make joint sales calls with colleagues as and when required.
• Contribute to business retention and growth by maintaining close communication with the sales team and customers.
• Maintain effective business communication with network agents, aiming to convert inquiries into business and find resolutions.
• Respond effectively to RFQs and related inputs.
• Adhere to company policy, applicable rules and regulations, and local laws.

Skills, Qualifications & Experience:

• Minimum 4-6 years of relevant working experience at an established and compliant freight forwarding company.
• Preference will be given to candidates with proven early managerial experience at an established and compliant freight forwarding company.
• Master’s degree preferably in a related field from a reputable institution.
• Strategic thinker with analytical skills, high achievement drive, and ability to take initiative.
• Good management, interpersonal, and communication skills with a high level of tolerance.
• Strong command over Microsoft Office and related software.
• Learning and growth mindset.
