Job Description
Taskeen is a mental health initiative that aims to change people’s attitudes, behaviours and perceptions towards health and well-being in Pakistan. The Taskeen Wellness program was launched in June 2020 and aims:
- To establish a helpline that provides mental health support to beneficiaries requiring help.
- To evaluate whether the session was successful and how much the beneficiaries benefited from the services.
- To establish a referral channel where beneficiaries requiring specific services are referred through the appropriate channels.
- To vet and maintain a registry of qualified mental health service providers across Pakistan.
Responsibilities:
- Managing Taskeen helpline channels such as WhatsApp, calls, emails, and various social media platforms for appointment scheduling and booking.
- Conducting feedback calls for clients after sessions.
- Training in and conducting urgent case calls and referrals to psychologists.
- Assisting in coordination activities as per the requirement of the Wellness Team.
Experience:
- Bachelors/Masters graduate
- Knowledge or experience in psychology, public health, or related mental health fields is preferable.
- Work experience in customer support/helpline-related work is preferable.
- Candidates must have exceptional communication skills.
- Preference for hybrid/remote working positions.
Other Information:
- Full-time, hybrid position, 1 day work from the office, 4 days from home.
- Must be present in Karachi.
- 8-hour shift, 5 days a week.
