Job Description
Role Description:
This is a full-time on-site role for a Technical Analyst Oracle, located in Islamabad. The Technical Analyst will be responsible for managing the following day-to-day operations:
- Administering Oracle Databases 11g,12c,19c which includes database monitoring, troubleshooting, administering, patching, upgrade & Migration.
- Performing backup and restore using RMAN, Data Pump.
- Implementation of high availability and DR solutions using oracle RAC, Data Guard.
- 24 x 7 Oracle database customer support.
- Monitoring system health and performance, availability, and security.
- Setting up replication with Golden Gate.
Experience & Skills:
- Minimum 1 to 2 years of professional experience in administering Oracle Databases.
- Ability to independently troubleshoot and analyze complex database problems.
- Knowledge of Oracle PL/SQL and shell scripting.
- Understand the basics of Operating Systems (Unix, Linux, Windows) and storage management.
- Willingness to learn new technologies.
Education / Certifications:
- BS Software Engineering/ CS or IT.
- Certifications in Oracle are preferred.
