Who are we?

At FRAG, we’re focused on creating unique and invigorating experiences for our audience. We are a team of 70+ gamers powering a Full-Service Game Studio. Since our founding in 2013, we’ve developed over 40 projects for clients across the world including Netflix and Cartoon Network. We are an exciting, enthusiastic studio passionate about making games. We are on the lookout for a 2D Art Manager to join us and help expand FRAG’s market share.

Skills and requirements:

• Have Industry experience of at least 5 years.
• Should have a strong understanding of Art and Design basics.
• Strong Knowledge of game art pipeline and Familiar with current industry workflows and quality standards.
• Decent 2D illustration skills and sound technical knowledge of most common software tools.
• Understands and production experience with varying game art styles.
• Understanding of UI/UX and 2D animations and relevant tools.
• Sound knowledge and practical experience with 2D game and production pipelines.
• Have experience of managing a team of artists and delivering projects on timelines.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively with a diverse group of stakeholders.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge and experience with popular project management tools/software.

Responsibilities:

• Communication and ability to understand the high-level requirements from clients and key stakeholders.
• Communicate with the Concept Lead/Art Director to understand the Artistic vision of the project.
• Communicate direction and comprehensive feedback to the artists and teams.
• Manage/tasking the team of artists (external and OS) with multiple projects.
• Working with Producers/Directors/PMs/Leads to manage and schedule the deadlines and ensure the quality production.
• Managing the Art assets i.e. tracking iterations and updating the lists of updated set of assets.
• Mentor and train artists to help them grow.
