Job Summary:

As a Supply Chain Officer in our solar energy company, you will ensure smooth procurement and logistics operations. Your key tasks include maintaining procurement arrangements, overseeing daily operations, and optimizing supplier relationships. Your efforts will support our mission of delivering sustainable solar energy solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Put in place robust procurement and contract management arrangements to help comply with legal requirements.
• Maintain key partner relationships.
• Manage daily operations of local procurement to ensure material and service requirements are met in a timely, efficient, effective, and ethical manner.
• Provide oversight of all local procurements in compliance with policies, procedures, and domestic regulations.
• Prepare comparative statements, purchase orders, and other required documents as needed.
• Direct all local procurement activities by financial policies and rules.
• Integrate and collaborate with key suppliers and engineering to focus on quality, cost reduction, and logistics.
• Assist in negotiations with key suppliers.
• Collaboratively work with key departments/stakeholders to ensure effective supplier relationships that are conducive to meeting customer objectives.
• Any other task as assigned from time to time.

The candidate should:

Bachelor’s degree in business, Engineering, logistics management, or a related qualification.

Freshers to 1 – 3 years experience in freight forwarding, procurement, or a related field.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Exceptional attention to detail.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
