Job Description
Company Description: We provide 3rd party mechanical services to industrial sectors such as oil, lube, and gas companies. Our expertise lies in pipeline, welding, fabrication, and on-site maintenance for oil, lube, and gas companies.
Role Description: This is a full-time, on-site role for a Site Supervisor located in Karachi. As the Site Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of mechanical and related work on-site. Your tasks will include ensuring work is performed safely, on schedule, and meets quality standards. You will manage a team of workers and subcontractors, maintaining open communication with project managers, clients, and stakeholders to ensure a smooth project progression.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a supervisory role in the mechanical, oil, lube, and gas industry
- Excellent knowledge of mechanical work methods and materials
- Strong leadership and organizational skills
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, able to lead a team and effectively communicate with superiors, clients, and stakeholders
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, plans, and specifications
- Knowledge of relevant safety regulations and procedures, and experience in identifying and mitigating construction site hazards
- Bachelor’s degree or Diploma holder in mechanical engineering with metric qualification or equivalent education and experience in a related field preferred
- Knowledge of health and safety environment practices used in multinational companies handling on-site work under complete safety
Other Requirements:
- Must have own transportation for work, as most of the work is on the Karachi port side
- Alternatively, must live near the Karachi port area for easy access to the work site
- Salary will be decided based on experience and performance in handling the work site and projects
