Job Description

A reputable organization is seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior GBV (Gender-Based Violence) Associate to join their team. This position involves providing leadership and technical expertise in GBV programs, including the development, implementation, and monitoring of initiatives to address gender-based violence.

The Senior GBV Associate will be responsible for coordinating with various stakeholders to design and implement sustainable solutions, strengthen community-based mechanisms, and promote gender equality. Additionally, the successful candidate will lead capacity building efforts, train staff and community members, and ensure the quality and effectiveness of GBV interventions.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field (Master’s preferred)
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in GBV programming
  • Demonstrated knowledge of international best practices in addressing gender-based violence
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficient in using MS Office Suite
  • Ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment
