Job Description

PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Work towards improving the Athletes’ outreach across the current schools as well as new schools and communities.
• Closely work with the National and regional teams to support the programmatic development of the Family Support Network (FSN), and reach out to new families, and improve engagement with current families.
• Support the general development and grooming of Special Olympics Pakistan’s Athletes in alignment with the organization’s vision and leadership.
• Explore and work around INCLUSIVE opportunities for Athletes’ Engagement.
• Support the development of the Athlete Leadership models across schools. Provide mentorship to Schools’ Athletes where needed.
• Support the execution of SOP Live-In Camps.
• Collect data and documents of Athletes and prepare reports of Athletes’ Engagements and other related activities.
• Assist the program teams in the general coordination with the schools, coaches, and partners regarding activities, where directed.

SUPPLEMENTARY ROLES:

• Provide other support concerning operations and events management.
• Work collaboratively with other region’s staff and be open to learning and sharing new developments.

JOB SPECIFICATION:

• Minimum Education: Graduate (preferably in Special Education, Social Science, or any relevant discipline).
• Minimum Experience: 1 year (including volunteer experience in the relevant discipline).
• Knowledge and Experience of working in the Non-Profit/Development/Sports Sector.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Good English and Urdu language written and verbal skills.
