Job Description
We are currently seeking a qualified Programme Coordinator to join our team in Islamabad. As the Programme Coordinator for Peace and Social Cohesion, you will play a crucial role in planning and implementing projects aimed at promoting peace and social harmony within communities.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage project plans, ensuring timely implementation and delivery of objectives
- Monitor project activities and budgets, ensuring adherence to set guidelines and milestones
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and address community needs
- Coordinate with partner organizations to facilitate effective project implementation
- Provide guidance and support to project staff and volunteers, ensuring project milestones are met
- Prepare and present reports to management, highlighting project progress and outcomes
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as peace studies, social work, or international relations
- Proven experience in project coordination, preferably in a peace and social cohesion context
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and effectively manage multiple priorities
- Knowledge of local context and dynamics in Islamabad and surrounding areas
- Proficient in MS Office and project management tools
