Job Description
Job Summary:
Responsible for ensuring timely testing and release of raw materials, including the preparation of Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) documents, and daily verification and maintenance of QC equipment’s.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct daily testing of raw materials to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Prepare and maintain online reports documenting the release of raw materials for production use.
- Monitor and manage the preparation and standardization of Volumetric and Test Solutions used in quality control processes.
- Perform daily filtration of purified water to maintain quality standards in the manufacturing process.
- Develop qualification protocols, write Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and define specifications for raw materials testing procedures.
- Take proactive operational decisions regarding the routine testing of raw materials batches, ensuring timely and accurate results.
Required Knowledge and Experience:
- Holds a professional degree of Pharmacy (Pharm D) or Master’s degree in Chemistry / Applied Chemistry, with good communication skills and command in computer (MS Office, Adobe Acrobat, Power Point) skills.
- Should have good business understanding of WHO and ICH guidelines, along with data compilation and analytical skills.
- 3-5 years of relevant work experience in any reputed pharmaceutical company.
- Hands-on experience with sophisticated equipment’s such as High-Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC), Ultraviolet-Visible (UV) spectrophotometers, and Fourier Transform Infrared (FTIR) spectrometers.
