Job Description
The JD’s of the Freelancer i.e. IT Assistant-KHI shall be as follows:
- Provide network access and technical support to all staff.
- Install and configure workstations.
- Connect and set up hardware.
- Service workstations on a monthly basis.
- Install required software as per IT policy.
- Inventory control of IT assets in Karachi region.
- Maintain all computers, printers, network devices, and servers in Karachi region.
- Provide technical support to internal and remote users and the administration department.
- Visit the local market for IT item purchases and analyze new products.
- Purchase computers, network devices, printers, and other IT-related items.
- Monitor servers, firewalls, network nodes, and workstations.
- Maintain UPS system for a smooth working environment.
- Maintain accurate inventory for current and future hardware and software needs.
- Perform any other task assigned by the Line Manager.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s or associate’s degree in IT, or a related field.
