- Ensuring compliance with fire safety codes in building plans
- Updating fire protection systems and smoke detectors
- Investigating fire causes and working on insurance claims
- Researching fire protection methods and technologies
- Creating fire safety plans for various facilities

Designing fire protection systems, assessing upgrades, and preparing cost estimates
Developing safety plans, conducting fire drills, and investigating fire causes
Keeping updated on fire protection technology and methods
Preparing reports, assisting in code development, and providing fire safety training
