Position: Assistant Manager LH Metro Configuration
Location: Islamabad
Reporting to: Senior Manager Transmission Configurations
Job Type: Permanent
Job Purpose:
- To manage Long Haul and Metro optical network configuration including FTTH network
Job Responsibilities:
- Configurations on PTN, OTN and DWDM devices
- Provisioning advanced level support to team for Core Transmission
- Coordinating and implementing new Core Transmission network entities with necessary checks
- Network Optimization based on key performance parameters analysis
- Performing health checks and ensuring timely corrective and preventive maintenance
- Coordinating with vendors & regions for emergency situations handling
- Identifying outages and providing real-time technical support
- Manage premium support to corporate business teams
- Ensure follow-ups on vendor escalation matrix for issue resolution
Eligibility Criteria: Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Telecommunication, Electronics, or Electrical. Minimum 6 years of relevant experience required.
Skills include Communication & Presentation, Personal Leadership, Project & Time Management, and Problem Solving with knowledge in PTN, OTN, DWDM networks, and Core Transmission.
