The Social Media Specialist is responsible for developing and implementing social media strategies to enhance the organization’s online presence and achieve its marketing and communication goals. This role involves creating engaging content, managing social media accounts, analyzing performance metrics, and staying abreast of industry trends.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute a comprehensive social media strategy aligned with organizational goals.
• Identify target audiences and create content that appeals to and engages them.
• Stay updated on industry trends and emerging platforms to ensure a competitive edge.
• Create high-quality, engaging, and shareable content for various social media platforms.
• Develop a content calendar and schedule posts to maintain a consistent online presence.
• Collaborate with other teams to gather content and ensure brand consistency.
• Manage and monitor social media accounts (e.g., Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn) on a daily basis.
• Respond to comments, messages, and mentions promptly and professionally.
• Implement and maintain social media advertising campaigns.
• Use analytics tools to track and analyze the performance of social media campaigns.
• Provide regular reports on key metrics and insights, adjusting strategies based on data.
• Foster and grow the online community by building relationships with followers and influencers.
• Encourage user-generated content and participate in relevant conversations.
• Stay informed about the latest trends and best practices in social media marketing.
• Recommend and implement new features, tools, and strategies to optimize social media efforts.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Social Media Specialist or similar role.
• In-depth knowledge of social media platforms and their respective audiences.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Creative thinking and the ability to generate innovative ideas.
• Proficiency in using social media management tools and analytics platforms.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certification in Social Media Marketing.
