Position Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Sales Manager to lead and inspire a team of at least 30 sales professionals. The Sales Manager will be responsible for driving revenue growth, developing and implementing effective sales strategies, and ensuring the achievement of sales targets. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in leading high-performing sales teams, particularly in the software industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a sales team of at least 30 professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and support to drive performance and achieve sales targets.
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to expand the customer base and increase revenue.
- Set clear objectives for the sales team and monitor progress towards goals, implementing corrective actions when necessary.
- Foster a culture of high performance, accountability, and continuous improvement within the sales team.
- Identify new business opportunities and markets for the company’s products and services.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as marketing and product development, to align sales strategies with overall business objectives.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth and innovation.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field; MBA is a plus.
- Proven experience as a Sales Manager or similar leadership role, preferably in the software industry.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a sales team.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and implement effective sales strategies.
- Proficiency in sales management software and CRM systems.
- Results-driven with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to analyze data and market trends to make informed decisions.
