Lucky Renewables is a newly incorporated private limited company owned by the Yunus Brothers Group, a prominent business group in Pakistan. Yunus Energy Limited is a public limited unlisted company established in 2011. Lucky Energy Pvt. Ltd., another entity under the Group, is a gas-powered thermal power generation facility. The vision of Lucky Energy is to be a well-reputed power generation company contributing to the development and growth of trade and industry in Pakistan through efficient use of natural resources.
Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role as an Assistant Tax Manager at Lucky Renewables/Yunus Energy/Lucky Energy located in Karāchi. The Assistant Tax Manager will be responsible for tax planning, tax compliance, tax preparation, and ensuring compliance with tax laws. The role involves working closely with the finance and legal teams, preparing tax documents, conducting tax analysis, and staying updated with changing tax regulations. Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and knowledge of tax laws and regulations are essential for success in this role.
Qualifications
- Tax Planning, Tax Compliance, and Tax Preparation skills
- Knowledge of Tax Law and regulations
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Certifications such as ACCA / CMA (partly or Finalist) are preferred.
