Job Description
An overseas client based in Cameroon is seeking a skilled and experienced Operations Director with expertise in solar energy. As the Operations Director – Solar Energy, you will oversee the development, engineering, and execution of commercial solar projects, including strategic planning, technical leadership, project execution, and risk management.
- Lead strategic planning and development of commercial solar projects.
- Provide technical leadership in solar PV systems design and engineering.
- Direct project execution from procurement to commissioning.
- Foster relationships with stakeholders and clients for project success.
- Establish quality control measures and mitigate risks.
- Manage project budgets and maximize profitability.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years experience in solar energy with project development expertise.
- Strong technical skills in solar PV systems design and construction.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities and excellent communication skills.
- Proficient in regulatory requirements, permitting processes, and project management.
