Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Book Publisher & Formatter to join our team at The BackSpace Tech. As a Book Publisher & Formatter, you will be responsible for overseeing the publication process of books on various platforms, including Amazon and other digital publishing platforms.
Night Shift (8 pm – 5 am)
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with authors to review manuscripts and provide feedback on content and formatting.
- Format manuscripts according to specifications of different digital publishing platforms.
- Design cover art and promotional materials for books.
- Manage editing, proofreading, and manuscript preparation.
- Upload books to digital platforms with accurate metadata.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in English, Publishing, or related field.
- Proven experience in digital or self-publishing.
- Knowledge of Amazon KDP and digital publishing.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Adobe InDesign.
