Role Description
We are seeking an experienced educationalist for a 3-month contract to set up a community learning center. You will be responsible for developing the curriculum, systems, and operations to deliver quality education to underserved students.
Responsibilities
- Conduct market research and needs assessment to develop relevant programs.
- Design comprehensive curriculum and courses for the first 6 months.
- Create operational plans covering staffing, financials, policies, etc.
- Set up the process for student enrollment, assessment, and counseling.
- Train teachers and staff on vision and teaching methodology.
- Develop a monitoring and evaluation framework to track impact.
- Document all plans, guidelines, and resources for continuity.
Requirements
- Master’s in Education with 7+ years of experience in academic leadership.
- Expertise in instructional design and school administration.
- Entrepreneurial mindset and experience in startup environments.
- Strong analytical, strategic planning, and communication abilities.
- Passion for expanding education access to all.
Deliverables
- Market research report and program plan.
- Curriculum for all initial courses.
- Staffing plan with job descriptions.
- Operational blueprint covering financial plan, policies, and processes.
- Frameworks for monitoring and evaluation, student tracking, etc.
- Training and transition plans to sustain operations.
Term
3-month fixed term contract with an option to extend based on performance.
