Job Description
Location: Karachi
Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in transportation management, logistics, project management, or similar preferred.
Experience: Minimum 5 years experience as a logistics/transportation specialist in a related industry.
Requirements: Knowledge of port regulations and procedures, superb leadership and interpersonal skills, exceptional organizational and time management skills, self-motivated with decision-making skills, excellent communication skills, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, willingness to provide operational support beyond business hours, and readiness to travel out-station in case of cargo damage during accidents.
Responsibilities: Oversee safe loading and unloading of cargo, coordinate with ship’s crew and stakeholders, ensure regulatory compliance, manage cargo handling equipment, verify quantities, liaise with transport and clearing teams, and coordinate vessel arrival and documentation with the trade team.
