Job Description
Al Sharqi Shipping is seeking a highly skilled Documentation Officer to join our team. Your role will be vital in maintaining the integrity and accessibility of documentation across multiple locations. If you excel in record-keeping and thrive in a collaborative setting, we want to hear from you.
Core Responsibilities:
- Manage various documentation areas such as pay orders, cheques, receivings, and bank statement tracking.
- Collaborate with departments and present data when needed.
- Ensure timely processing of accounts receivable and accounts payable aging.
- Maintain detailed records for auditing purposes.
- Adhere to company policies and regulatory standards.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or B.Com.
- Proficiency in Excel, Word, with basic Accounting knowledge.
- Minimum 1 year of documentation management experience, preferably in a related field.
- Understanding of freight forwarding processes and terminology.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and time management.
- Display professionalism, confidentiality, and integrity.
