Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Design and implement high-volume, low-latency APIs
- Engage with Engineering, DevOps, Marketing teams throughout the design, implementation, testing, deployment, and services support in production.
- Work with engineers across the company to build new features at large-scale
- Enjoy the team collaboration within a trustworthy culture
Skills & Qualifications:
- Minimum 5+ years of software development experience with various distributed projects and technologies (Java)
- Hands-on experience with team management/leadership
- Experienced with NoSQL/RDBMS such as Mongo, SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL
- Aware of application security principles, secure coding standards, and practices
- Familiar with various API design and architectural patterns
- Understanding scalable application design principles
- Experience with stream-processing systems like Apache Kafka, Amazon SQS, Google cloud pub/Sub
- Upper-intermediate(B2) or higher English level
- Agile enthusiast with knowledge in Scrum and Estimation practices
Would Be a Plus:
- Experience in payments, ISO8583 message format
- Experience with HSM, preferably Thales
- Knowledge of PCI Compliance standards
- Knowledge of CI/CD, Kubernetes, Cloud platforms (Google, AWS, Azure), Docker
