Job Description
A Study Start Up Manager is responsible for leading and coordinating the study start-up activities for clinical trials. This role requires strong project management skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work under pressure.
The Study Start Up Manager is responsible for ensuring all necessary regulatory approvals and documentation are obtained prior to the start of the trial. They collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, such as investigators, sponsors, and regulatory authorities, to ensure compliance with local and international regulations.
Key responsibilities include developing and implementing study start-up plans, conducting feasibility assessments, obtaining ethics committee approvals, negotiating contracts, and coordinating site initiation visits.
