Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Biomedical Engineer at Ziauddin University located in Karāchi. The Biomedical Engineer will be responsible for conducting research, designing and developing medical devices and equipment, and providing technical support. They will also collaborate with medical professionals and scientists to identify needs and opportunities for improvement and innovation in the field of biomedical engineering.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Biomedical Engineering, or a related field
- Strong knowledge of medical device regulations and standards
- Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software
- Experience in designing and developing medical devices and equipment
- Knowledge of medical imaging technologies, such as MRI and ultrasound
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team
- Effective communication and presentation skills
- Attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks
Relevant certifications and experience in the healthcare industry will be an advantage.
