Job Description
The Director of Sales is responsible for developing and executing strategic sales plans to achieve company objectives and revenue targets. Leading and managing the sales team, building client relationships, and ensuring customer satisfaction are key roles.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Strategy and Planning:
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans for corporate goals.
- Analyze market trends and competitor activities for growth opportunities.
- Team Leadership and Management:
- Recruit, train, and mentor the sales team for enhanced performance.
- Set and monitor performance targets, provide feedback.
- Client Relationship Management:
- Build strong relationships, ensure customer satisfaction, close sales deals.
- Sales Operations:
- Oversee efficient sales processes, manage budgets and reports.
- Utilize CRM software for sales data analysis.
- Collaboration and Communication:
- Work with other departments, communicate sales goals to management.
- Market and Industry Knowledge:
- Stay updated on industry trends, represent the company at events.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in business-related field.
- Min. 10 years experience in sales leadership, 4 years in outbound sales.
- Strong knowledge of selling strategies, employee motivation, and market dynamics.
- Excellent leadership, communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
