Duties / Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily financial operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.
- Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, reports, and forecasts.
- Manage the month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and financial regulations.
- Monitor and analyze financial performance and make recommendations for improvements.
- Develop and implement financial policies and procedures.
- Coordinate and manage audits and tax filings.
- Supervise and train accounting staff.
- Collaborate with other departments to support overall business objectives.
- Maintain accurate and organized financial records.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Professional certification such as CPA, ACCA, or CMA preferred.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in accounting or financial management (preferably specialized in spices category).
- Experience in FMCG or spices companies is preferred.
- Hands-on experience dealing with Tax related authorities.
- Developing costing mechanisms for various products.
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations.
- Proficiency in accounting software, ERP experience mandatory.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- High level of integrity and ethical standards.
