Job Description
Overview:
We are seeking an incumbent who will be responsible to develop and execute business development to improve DHL’s business attainment. Understand customers’ shipping requirements for customized logistics services.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Develop strong customer relationships and ensure satisfaction.
- Handle customer complaints and inquiries promptly.
- Manage defined customer portfolio and execute sales plans.
- Negotiate service contracts with customers.
- Deliver high-quality presentations to potential customers.
- Plan and conduct sales calls for customer retention and acquisition.
- Assess credit worthiness of potential customers and gather market intelligence.
Skills, Qualifications & Experience:
- 5-7 years of field sales experience in freight forwarding.
- Understanding of trade lane specifics and deep knowledge of Ocean freight and logistics.
- Master’s degree preferred.
- Effective in presentations and sales negotiations.
- Proven sales record with excellent communication and management skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and related software.
