Job Description
We are currently seeking a motivated and talented individual to join our team as a Junior Cyber Security Specialist. This position offers a unique opportunity for aspiring cybersecurity professionals to gain hands-on experience in the field.
As a Junior Cyber Security Specialist, you will be part of our remote IT internship program, contributing to the development and implementation of cybersecurity strategies. You will assist in identifying potential vulnerabilities, analyzing security risks, and implementing appropriate measures to safeguard our systems and data.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with monitoring and analyzing network traffic for potential security threats.
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing.
- Implement and maintain security controls, including firewalls and intrusion detection systems.
- Respond to security incidents and conduct incident investigations.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest cybersecurity trends, threats, and technologies.
Requirements:
