Job Description

A Sales Development Representative is responsible for generating and qualifying leads for the sales team. They play a crucial role in the sales process by identifying potential customers and initiating contact with them. As an SDR, you will be conducting research, making cold calls, sending emails, and engaging in social selling to drive interest and schedule appointments for the sales team.

You will need excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, as you will be presenting the company’s products or services to potential clients. Strong organizational skills and the ability to handle rejection are also important in this role. Additionally, you should be self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work in a fast-paced and target-driven environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Research and identify potential leads using various sources
  • Make outbound calls and send emails to engage with leads
  • Qualify leads through effective questioning and active listening
  • Present product or service information to potential customers
  • Schedule appointments or demos for the sales team
  • Maintain accurate records of interactions and progress in CRM software
