Job Description
Purpose
This position is responsible to contribute towards oversight of HSE system implementation and monitoring in depts by assisting Manager Safety CHSEQ. Purpose for this position includes providing support by performing safety inspections in depts, coordination, follow-up, managing compliance data including incidents data, inspections, audits, analysis at CHSEQ and performance data of departments. This position will also provide support for preparing weekly/ monthly / annual HSE performance reports.
Education
- Graduate Engineer
- Experience 2 to 3 years in reputed organization
- IOSH Managing Safely preferably NEBOSH IGC and ISO 45001
Area Of Responsibility
- Assist in development of Safety Management Systems, Policies, and Procedures to ensure compliance with legal and engineering standards.
- Perform risk assessments to identify potential hazards and implement preventive measures to mitigate risks.
- Design and deliver HSE training programs for employees to promote a culture of safety.
- Investigate accidents, incidents, and near-misses to determine root causes and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- Monitor and report on HSE performance metrics and compliance levels to management.
- Coordinate with HSE teams to integrate HSE considerations into operations, maintenance, and project.
- Conduct audits of HSE systems and practices to identify areas for improvement and ensure adherence to industry standards and best practices
