We are looking for a high-energy individual who has a proven track record within the logistics and freight forwarding sector.
Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role in Lahore for a Manager Logistics – International. The Manager Logistics – International will be responsible for overseeing and managing international logistics activities. This includes developing and implementing logistics strategies, managing import and export operations within the GCC region, ensuring compliance with international trade regulations, and optimizing the supply chain to achieve cost efficiency and high-quality standards. The role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams, maintaining relationships with freight forwarders and other stakeholders, and driving continuous improvement in logistics processes across different regions.
Responsibilities
– Manage and oversee international freight forwarding operations for import and export in the GCC region.
– Develop and implement logistics strategies to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods.
– Ensure compliance with international trade regulations, including documentation, Inco terms, and shipment clearance.
– Address port issues, including demurrage and damages, and work to minimize such incidents.
– Coordinate with suppliers, freight forwarders, and customs brokers to ensure smooth logistics operations.
– Optimize the supply chain by improving processes and systems to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
– Maintain accurate records of shipments, inventories, and logistics activities.
– Collaborate with internal teams to forecast and plan logistics needs.
– Monitor and analyze logistics performance metrics and KPIs to drive continuous improvement.
– Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including suppliers and customers.
– Ensure full visibility and responsibility throughout the supply chain.
– Implement new technologies and stay updated with trends and developments in the logistics sector.
– Manage risks that could affect the supply chain and develop strategies to mitigate them.
– Consider the environmental impact of logistics operations and work towards sustainability targets.
Qualifications
– Strong analytical skills and knowledge of logistics, supply chain management, and international trade regulations.
– Proven experience in a similar role within the logistics, freight forwarding, or supply chain sectors.
– Strong planning and organizational skills.
– A logical and systematic approach to work.
– Good time management, with the ability to work under pressure, maintain accuracy, and meet deadlines.
– Excellent relationship management skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with internal and external teams.
– Business management and analytical skills.
– The ability to lead and motivate a team.
– Understanding of risk management in the context of logistics and supply chain.
– Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
– Proficiency in computer software, including MS Office.
– Tertiary qualification in a related field (certificate/diploma/degree) would be beneficial but not a requirement.
– Willingness to sign a confidentiality agreement and protect trade secrets.
– Must be aware and sensitive to different cultural sensibilities – we work with an international team and audience.
Experience
– 3 to 4 years minimum.

Office Timing
– 10:30am to 7:00pm
