Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and analyze contract documents for risk assessment and underwriting eligibility.
- Evaluate financial statements and credit reports to inform underwriting decisions.
- Assess contract terms for risks, propose modifications, and approve credit applications.
- Collaborate with internal teams for compliance and information gathering.
- Communicate underwriting decisions and maintain accurate records.
- Stay updated on industry trends and regulatory changes.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance or related field.
- 4-5 years experience in contract underwriting, banking sector preferred.
- Strong background in credit card application assessment.
- Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in underwriting software and tools.
Preferred Skills:
- Certification in underwriting or risk management.
- Familiarity with industry regulations and compliance standards.
