Job Description
Simplex Technology Solutions provides technology solutions for the retail industry. We are seeking an enthusiastic, motivated, and skilled Support Engineer to join our team. The Application Support Engineer will be responsible for the implementation, customization, and support of various software applications within Simplex.
Job Responsibilities:
- Technical Support: Provide timely and effective support to end-users, including troubleshooting and escalation management.
- Incident Management: Document and track support requests, ensuring resolution within SLAs.
- User Training: Develop and deliver user training materials for effective software utilization.
- System Monitoring: Proactively monitor application performance.
- Documentation: Maintain up-to-date technical documentation for efficient problem resolution.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
- Proven experience in technical support in a software application environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- ITIL certification or familiarity with IT service management best practices is a plus.
