Job Description
We are seeking a motivated Corporate Accountant with 1 to 4 years of experience, ideally with exposure to working with US clients. The ideal candidate will have familiarity with the following areas: US based SEC (Securities and Exchange Commission) regulations, technical accounting, and external reporting.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Experience: 1 to 4 years of accounting experience, preferably with exposure to US clients. Experience with SEC reporting is highly desirable
- Technical Skills: Strong understanding of US GAAP and SEC regulations. Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
- Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail in preparing and reviewing financial documents
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capability to interpret complex financial data
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels
- Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with technical accounting and external reporting
- Familiarity with SEC filings and compliance requirements
Responsibilities:
- Financial Reporting: Assist in preparing and analyzing financial statements in compliance with US GAAP and SEC regulations. Ensure accurate and timely reporting to meet internal and external deadlines
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with various departments, including finance, legal, and operations, to gather necessary information for reporting and compliance purposes. Assist in implementing process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy
- Special Projects: Participate in special projects as needed, such as system implementations, process optimizations, and other ad-hoc initiatives
