Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Server Administrator to oversee the maintenance, upgrading, and management of our software, hardware, and networks. Resourcefulness is essential for this role, as you will diagnose and resolve issues promptly. Effective communication with diverse teams and users is crucial. Your objective is to maintain the smooth and efficient operation of our technology infrastructure.
Responsibilities
- Install and configure software and hardware
- Manage network servers and technology tools
- Set up workstations
- Monitor performance and maintain systems according to requirements
- Troubleshoot issues and outages
- Ensure security through access controls, backups and firewalls
- Upgrade systems with new releases and models
- Develop expertise to train staff on new technologies
- Build an internal wiki with technical documentation, manuals, and IT policies
Requirements and skills
- 5 years of proven experience as a System Administrator, Network Administrator, or similar role
- Must have Mtech Degree
- Experience with databases, networks (LAN, WAN) and patch management
- Knowledge of system security (e.g., intrusion detection systems) and data backup/recovery
- Familiarity with various operating systems and platforms
- Resourcefulness and problem-solving aptitude
- Excellent communication skills
- Experience Preferable 2019 – 2023 Windows server and all the features
Shift Timings: 6:00PM till 2:00AM (Monday to Saturdays)
